My launch-day PlayStation 5 boots up normally and shows the solid white light, yet the video signal is unreliable— the picture flickers, drops to static, or disappears altogether. I have ruled out the cable and the display by testing multiple high-speed HDMI leads on two different monitors, so the fault is inside the console itself.
