I need a fresh set of eyes on a Windows app that talks to a PS4 over the local network. You will run the build on your own test console, load GoldHEN with ps4debug, and confirm that everything handshakes exactly the way the documentation describes.
Your background can be beginner-level with general PS4 homebrew, but I do expect you to have spent plenty of time using GoldHEN itself; the nuances of its debugging menus and payload handling are what matter most here. As long as your PS4 is already jail-broken, on the same LAN as your Windows PC, and ready for payloads, you’re good to go.
What I’ll hand over:
• the Windows executable, full source, and a quick-start guide
• contact details so you can reach me live while you test
What I need back:
• captured logs (both app side and console side)
• a concise bug/compatibility report that calls out failed reconnects, bad packets, or crashes
• a short screen-recording or live share that clearly shows the app talking to the console, including at least one game launch and one console reboot
Acceptance criteria:
1. The app discovers the console and attaches over ps4debug on first run.
2. After a forced disconnect (e.g., game launch or manual network drop), it reconnects within the timeout defined in the docs.
3. No unhandled exceptions appear in either log during a 20-minute play session plus a full console restart.
4. Your report pinpoints any deviations and includes reproduction steps.
I’ll stay on standby during testing, so if you hit a snag we can troubleshoot together. Once the above four points check out and you’ve shared the video plus logs, the job is complete.
