Looking for an Experienced PS4 Developer – Game Build Analysis & Tool Development
I am looking for an experienced developer with a strong background in PS4 development, debugging, game build analysis, C/C++, and low-level software analysis.
Project
The game is the Black Ops 2 PS4/PS5 port
CUSA: CUSA57548
I own and have legitimate access to the game.
What I need
I am looking for someone who can:
- Analyze the game build and determine the correct development/debugging environment required.
- Work with PS4 development and debugging environments such as Retail, TestKit, or DevKit where appropriate.
- Analyze executable behavior, game functions, memory structures, and multiplayer-related data.
- Help obtain the technical information required for development from my own legitimate game copy.
- Develop a PC-side debugging/research tool that can communicate with the running game in a controlled development environment.
- Handle the project from the initial technical analysis through tool development and testing.
Important Emphasis:
I currently only have legitimate access to the game itself. Therefore, I need someone who can handle the project from start to finish, including technical analysis, development, and testing.
Please prioritize freelancers with real low-level PS4 console/game development experience in debugging, reverse engineering, C/C++, and console tooling—not general Unity or Unreal Engine developers.
Before applying, please explain:
1. Your experience with PS4 development or low-level game analysis.
2. What hardware/software environment you would require.
3. Whether you can handle the project from initial analysis through development.
4. Your estimated total project cost.
5. Any similar console/game debugging or reverse-engineering work you have completed.
The project is intended for legitimate research, debugging, and development using my own copy of the game. I am not requesting DRM circumvention, unauthorized access to third-party systems, or disruption of online services.
