Drawing Brief – Stage & Drapes Support – H30V Roof 5 × 4 m

Please prepare a technical drawing of a 5.00 × 4.00 m roof structure constructed from Prolyte H30V truss.

Construction
Overall roof dimensions: 5000 × 4000 mm
4 × H30V vertical legs
Front legs: 4000 mm, measured excluding the corner sections
Rear legs: 3290 mm, measured excluding the corner sections
The front legs are positioned directly underneath the front corners of the roof. They are not offset towards the rear.
The rear legs are positioned at the rear corners.
The roof slopes downwards from the front (high side) to the rear (low side).
Front, rear and side roof beams are H30V truss.
H30V should be represented as actual square truss, including the correct diagonal bracing.
3 × roof tubes, Ø48.3 mm, running from front to rear.
The three roof tubes should therefore be clearly visible in the top view, but should not appear as separate tubes in the side view.
4 × baseplates: 300 × 300 mm.
Corner sections

Please do not represent the corners as generic square H30V corner blocks.

The Prolyte/SPEC corner design should be used as a reference. Product references and detailed examples of these corners will be supplied separately.

Please note that the geometry of the front corners differs from the standard Prolyte Mini Flat Roof configuration. On our structure, the front legs are positioned at the very front of the roof, directly underneath the front roof corners, rather than being offset towards the rear.

An isometric/3D view is not required. Three technically correct 2D views are preferable to an inaccurate 3D representation.

Dimensions

The complete drawing must be constructed to actual dimensions and proportions.

Important: the dimensions 4000 mm and 3290 mm refer to the H30V leg lengths excluding the corner sections. They must therefore not be interpreted as the total overall height of the roof structure.

Drawing style

Please use a technical drawing style similar to the Prolyte reference drawings:

White background
Black CAD linework
Recognisable H30V truss construction
Correct diagonal bracing
Clear dimension lines
Professional technical title block

The Prolyte Mini Flat Roof brochure can be used as a reference for the general presentation and drawing style. It uses H30V towers and an H30V main grid.

The brochure also shows the preferred arrangement of Side View, Front View and Top View.

Important – approval procedure

Please first provide a simple PDF concept drawing showing the three main views for approval.

At this stage, the priority is to verify:

overall geometry and proportions;
position of all four legs;
roof slope;
front and rear leg lengths;
position and direction of the three roof tubes.

Please do not spend time fully detailing the corners or completing the final CAD drawing until the basic geometry has been approved.
