Position Summary:
Job Description Summary:

The Project Manager is a key member of the Implementation team and leads implementations for Supply Chain Solutions for SPS Commerce Clients. Responsibilities include using best practice project management methodologies and processes for all SPS Commerce programs; including defining project scope, objectives, business outcomes and high-level milestones. Extensive interaction with clients and internal sales, marketing, functional team, technology and support teams will be required. A key focus of this position is Managing a broad and dynamic workload, in-depth analysis work and incorporation of strategic goals where applicable.

Key Responsibilities: 

Manage day-to-day project tasks for implementing SPS Commerce Products and Services from close of sale through handoff to customer support

Create and maintain project work schedules, track customer requirements and translate customer requests into project deliverables

Demonstrate proficiency in service delivery while managing multiple projects

Monitor work-flow requirements to meet timelines and quality expectations

Act as information broker by directing communication to/from team and customers

Prioritize needs and effectively manage resources

Advocate for positive change and improvement within the organization by identifying and communicating the compelling needs for change/improvement

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

2+ years of experience in a client facing role

Fluent in German and English

Project Management experience

Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision while taking initiative and setting priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment

Experience working with ERP systems

Strong problem solving & analytic ability

Quality-focused; detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and multitask

Proven ability to handle multiple projects

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Excellent organizational skills and written/oral communication skills

Preferred Experience

Project Management experience in Retail Supply Chain ecosystem

Demonstrated understanding of processes and/or services to contribute to issue identification and idea generation/evaluation

Experience developing processes and managing projects in a technology-based service organization

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve goals without direct authority over personnel

Proven track record of designing, optimizing, and scaling operational processes while managing complex projects within the retail supply chain ecosystem.

Experience working with retailers, suppliers, distributors, or 3PLs.

Location: 

This role is remote in Germany. Düsseldorf/ Dortmund area is preferred.
