I manage a project-based company and want a dedicated Project Financial Controller who can take full ownership of our budget monitoring and forecasting—strictly inside spreadsheets. Every active project must be tracked for budget variance, cash flow, and profit & loss, with an in-depth analytical report delivered to me each day.

Here is what I expect from you:

• Build and maintain a master spreadsheet that consolidates all project budgets, actuals, and committed costs.
• Update the file daily from our source data, confirming accuracy before the morning report goes out.
• Produce a concise dashboard plus a drill-down tab for each project, highlighting variance drivers, cash-flow timing, and rolling profit forecasts.
• Flag potential overruns or liquidity issues immediately and propose corrective actions.
• Provide a forward-looking forecast that extends at least eight weeks, refreshing assumptions as new information arrives.

Acceptance criteria
• Daily report e-mailed (or shared via cloud) by 9 a.m. my local time.
• Variance, cash-flow, and P&L figures must reconcile to accounting exports.
• Forecast logic is transparent—formulas visible, no hidden sheets or macros.

If you are meticulous with numbers, thrive in Excel or Google Sheets, and can explain the story behind them, let’s get started.
