PSD Sportswear Mockup Designer – Smart Objects Based on Actual Garment Patterns

We are a sportswear manufacturer looking for an experienced designer to create **high-quality, realistic PSD mockups with editable Smart Objects** for our sportswear collections (football, basketball, volleyball, training apparel, etc.).

Project Requirements

- Create professional, photorealistic PSD mockups with fully editable Smart Objects.
- Provide separate Smart Objects for individual garment panels (front, back, sleeves, shorts, etc.).
- Ensure that replacing the design inside a Smart Object automatically updates the mockup.
- Accurately reproduce garment construction, seams, proportions, fabric texture, folds, and fit.
- Maintain a clear, well-organized PSD layer structure.

Important: Smart Object Geometry

A key requirement is that Smart Object dimensions and proportions should closely correspond to the actual garment pattern pieces.

For example, if a garment panel has a tall rectangular shape, its Smart Object should maintain approximately the same aspect ratio rather than using a square canvas.

Ideally, Smart Objects should be developed based on actual garment patterns to ensure accurate and predictable print placement.

We can provide garment patterns (DXF/PDF), technical drawings, reference photos, and sample designs.

Expected Deliverables

- Fully editable, layered PSD files.
- Separate, clearly labeled Smart Objects for garment panels.
- Realistic front and back mockup views.
- High-resolution output suitable for professional product presentations.
- Reusable templates for applying different designs to the same garment model.

Preferred Freelancer Qualifications

- Proven experience creating professional PSD apparel mockups.
- Strong Photoshop skills, including Smart Objects, displacement maps, perspective transformations, and realistic fabric rendering.
- Understanding of garment construction and pattern geometry is a significant advantage.

Priority will be given to freelancers who can provide examples of similar completed projects, particularly PSD sportswear mockups with editable Smart Objects and pattern-based design placement.
