I need a complete redesign of my Industrial / Product Design portfolio.
I already have an existing 30-page editable portfolio containing 4 product design projects, including research, sketches, concept development, CAD renders, prototypes, CMF exploration, and final contextual renders.
What I need
Redesign the portfolio from the ground up into a professional, premium Industrial Design portfolio suitable for internship/job applications.
This should NOT be a simple template change or rearrangement of my existing slides.
I want the portfolio redesigned around visual storytelling and design process.
Portfolio direction
The visual style should be:
Minimal and sophisticated
Contemporary Industrial Design / ID portfolio aesthetic
Strong Swiss/editorial-style typography and grid
Generous white/negative space
Large, high-quality product renders
Clear hierarchy
Consistent typography and page structure
Professional rather than decorative
Visually comparable to strong RISD / ArtCenter / RCA / professional industrial designer portfolios
Avoid:
Generic Canva templates
Decorative brush strokes
Excessive icons
Crowded research boards
Too many fonts
Large paragraphs
Repetitive layouts
Making every page look like a presentation slide
Storytelling
You may expand the portfolio from the existing 30 pages to approximately 35–45 pages.
Please split information-heavy pages when necessary.
Each major case study should approximately tell this story:
Problem → Context → Research → Key Insight → Design Opportunity → Requirements → Ideation → Concept Development → Prototyping / Testing → Refinement → Final Design → Features → CMF / Materials → Product in Context → Reflection
Not every project needs every section.
The goal is that a recruiter can quickly understand:
What was the problem?
What did I discover?
How did that insight influence my design decisions?
How did the concept evolve?
Why does the final product look/work this way?
Each project can have its own subtle accent color, but the overall portfolio must use one consistent visual design system.
Important
Please preserve and reuse my strongest existing assets:
Product renders
Sketches
Research
User observations
Physical prototypes
Exploded views
CMF explorations
Contextual/lifestyle renders
Do not invent fake research results, testing results, statistics, or project outcomes.
You may rewrite and shorten existing copy to improve storytelling, hierarchy, grammar, and readability.
I particularly want the research pages redesigned. Instead of putting every chart, quote, pain point, and insight on one page, identify the most important findings and turn them into clear visual storytelling.
Deliverables
I need:
Fully redesigned portfolio
Editable source file — preferably Canva or PowerPoint
Final high-resolution PDF
Consistent master layout/design system
Approximately 35–45 polished pages
All existing projects incorporated
The final result should feel like an Industrial Designer's portfolio, not a university presentation deck.
