I am looking for an experienced data cleaning specialist to review, clean, standardize, and organize raw datasets into accurate, analysis-ready files. The project may involve Excel, CSV, Google Sheets, or similar structured data.

The ideal freelancer should be comfortable working with large datasets and identifying inconsistencies without changing the underlying meaning of the data. Accuracy, attention to detail, and data confidentiality are essential.

Key Tasks
Clean and standardize raw datasets.
Identify and remove duplicate records.
Correct formatting and inconsistent data entries.
Handle missing, blank, or incomplete values appropriately.
Standardize names, addresses, dates, phone numbers, and categorical fields.
Identify and correct obvious typographical errors.
Check numerical values for inconsistencies and outliers.
Standardize date and number formats.
Validate data types and column structures.
Review datasets for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare clean, analysis-ready Excel/CSV files.
Document major cleaning steps and assumptions.
Perform quality checks before final delivery.
