We are looking for an experienced web designer/developer to create a clean, modern and professional corporate website for a newly established Canadian company, including the design of a professional company logo.

We are a newly established company and currently do not have finalized website content, branding guidelines, images, or detailed page layouts. The selected freelancer should therefore be able to guide us through the process and help organize and develop the website content based on the information and direction we provide.

We are not looking for anything overly fancy or complicated. Our priority is a website that looks professional, credible, modern, easy to navigate and appropriate for a Canadian corporate/B2B company.

Content Assistance

We do not currently have complete website content.

We will provide general information about the company and its activities. The freelancer should assist with:

Website sitemap and page structure
Organizing the company's business activities
Developing/refining website wording
Professional headings and descriptions
Calls to action
Selecting appropriate images
Presenting the company professionally to Canadian and international businesses

AI-assisted content development is acceptable; however, the final content must be reviewed and customized so that the website does not appear generic or entirely AI-generated.

Logo Design

The project must also include the design of a clean, professional and modern corporate logo.

We are not looking for an overly complicated logo.

Logo design should include:

2–3 initial logo concepts
Reasonable revisions
Primary company logo
Horizontal/alternative version where appropriate
Square/icon version
Website favicon
Transparent-background version
High-resolution files
Web and print-ready versions
Editable/vector source files such as AI, EPS or SVG
PNG and JPG versions

All final logo designs and source files must become the property of the company upon completion and payment.

Design Direction

The website and logo should have a professional corporate appearance suitable for a diversified Canadian business.

We prefer:

Clean and modern design
Professional typography
Good use of white space
Professional imagery
Simple navigation
Subtle Canadian influence where appropriate
Consistent branding throughout the website
Professional presentation suitable for suppliers, manufacturers, businesses and potential partners

The website should not look like a basic template with only the company name and text changed. At the same time, we do not require complicated animations or unnecessary custom functionality.

All custom graphics created for the project
Details of any themes/plugins used
Details of any licences required
