### Patent Writing & Technical Documentation Specialist

I am leading a team of engineers, and we are currently developing a new product that we believe has strong potential for patent protection.

We are looking for an experienced freelancer who can help us turn our engineering concepts, technical documentation, and invention details into clear, well-structured patent materials.

### What we need

The freelancer should be able to:

* Understand and analyze technical concepts and engineering designs
* Work closely with our engineering team to identify potentially patentable aspects
* Organize technical information into a clear invention disclosure
* Help prepare patent descriptions, claims, and supporting documentation
* Review and improve existing technical writing
* Conduct patent and technical research when needed
* Clearly communicate with engineers and ask the right technical questions
* Use AI tools such as ChatGPT effectively for research, drafting, comparison, and review while applying professional judgment to the final work

### Ideal background

Experience with one or more of the following would be a strong advantage:

* Patent writing or patent-related technical documentation
* Engineering or technology-related patents
* Electrical, electronics, embedded systems, software, or AI technologies
* Technical writing and technical editing
* Patent research and prior-art analysis
* Working directly with engineering or R&D teams

We are looking for someone who can become a long-term partner as we continue developing the product and potentially prepare additional patent applications.

Please include examples of your previous patent-writing or technical documentation work when applying.
