Professional 2D Park and Facilities Map Required
I’m looking for someone to professionally redraw and improve an existing 2D map of Lake Lascelles Cabins and Camping in Hopetoun, Victoria.
The main purpose is to create a clear and attractive map showing the layout of the park and its facilities. It will also include important fire and emergency information, such as fire equipment locations, emergency access points and evacuation assembly areas.
I already have a reasonably complete draft showing the correct layout and locations. I’m not looking for the park to be redesigned—I need someone to tidy up and sharpen my version, improve the overall appearance and turn it into a professional, easy-to-read map.
The map will include:
Cabins and other buildings
Toilets, showers and camp kitchen
Powered and unpowered camping areas
Roads, tracks and parking areas
Fire hydrants, extinguishers and hose reels
Emergency vehicle access points
Fire evacuation assembly areas
“You Are Here” markers
A numbered legend identifying the buildings, facilities and emergency symbols
I would like it to have a friendly, attractive 2D park-map style while remaining clear and accurate. The legend at the bottom will need to be particularly well laid out so visitors can easily understand the map.
Good communication is very important. There will be small details and locations that may need adjusting, so I need someone who is happy to provide progress drafts, communicate clearly and make reasonable revisions until everything is correct.
The finished map must be created in a professional vector-design program and supplied as:
A fully editable and properly layered source file
Adobe Illustrator, SVG or another suitable vector format
Print-ready PDF
High-resolution PNG or JPG
Details of any fonts or external design assets used
Please include examples of any similar caravan park, tourist facility, site-plan or evacuation maps you have created. Please also confirm which design program you will use and that the finished source file will remain fully editable.
