Senior Full-Stack Developer — Production-Ready Data Intelligence Platform

I am looking for an experienced senior full-stack/platform developer to take an existing data intelligence platform from its current development state to a secure, stable and production-ready product.

This is not a greenfield build. A substantial application, architecture, database, frontend/backend and technical documentation already exist. The objective is to review what has been built against the intended architecture, identify gaps and technical debt, and complete the work required for production deployment.

Platform Overview

The platform is an enterprise data intelligence application that integrates data from customer business systems, processes and standardises it into a canonical data model, and provides management dashboards, analytics and AI-assisted querying.

The intended stack includes:

* React / TypeScript frontend
* Node.js / TypeScript backend
* PostgreSQL
* REST APIs
* ETL/data-processing pipelines
* Docker
* Kubernetes/Helm for production deployment
* Authentication and RBAC
* Monitoring, logging and auditability
* Local/private deployment within customer environments

A key architectural principle is one configurable product codebase, rather than separate custom versions for individual customers.

Scope of Engagement

The selected developer will initially conduct a paid technical audit of the existing codebase and documentation.

The audit should identify what is:

Implemented | Partially Implemented | Missing | Incorrect | Technical Debt | Production Risk

Following the audit, the developer will work through an agreed production-readiness plan covering:

* Frontend and dashboard reliability
* Backend/API architecture
* Database structure and migrations
* Data ingestion and processing pipelines
* Authentication, RBAC and security
* Error handling and data validation
* Testing and QA
* Docker/Kubernetes deployment
* CI/CD and environment management
* Logging, monitoring and observability
* Backup, recovery and rollback
* Performance and reliability
* Technical and deployment documentation

The goal is not to unnecessarily rewrite the platform. Existing components should be retained where they are sound and refactored or replaced where justified.

Developer Profile

I am looking for a senior engineer, ideally with strong experience in:

TypeScript / Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Docker, Linux, Kubernetes, CI/CD, OAuth/OIDC, RBAC, automated testing and production deployment.

Experience with ETL/data pipelines, ERP/POS/accounting integrations, enterprise software, analytics platforms or data-intensive B2B applications would be particularly valuable.

Expected Outcome

At completion, the platform should have:

* A reproducible production deployment
* Secure authentication and permissions
* Reliable data ingestion and processing
* Tested database migrations
* Stable and trustworthy dashboards/APIs
* Automated testing
* Production logging and monitoring
* Backup and recovery procedures
* Upgrade and rollback capability
* Clear technical documentation
* A maintainable codebase that another developer can support

How to Apply

Please provide:

1. Examples of similar applications you have taken from development to production.
2. Your experience with the technologies above.
3. Your experience with data pipelines and database architecture.
4. Your approach to auditing an unfamiliar existing codebase.
5. How you decide between refactoring and rewriting.
6. Your availability and preferred engagement model.

The engagement will begin with a paid technical audit and production-readiness assessment before committing to the full implementation.

Please start your response with “PRODUCTION REVIEW” so I know you have read the brief.
