We are building an on-device AI wearable, and I need a mechanical designer to take our case from a layout model to production CAD and drawings that a titanium CNC shop can quote.
What exists today: a layout model in Fusion 360 and STEP, a full engineering plan, and every key dimension. The case is a one-piece Ti-6Al-4V unibody, 48.4 mm across and 15.05 mm thick, with a domed zirconia caseback held by four M1.2 screws and a face O-ring, a flush sapphire crystal bonded from the front, four inductive buttons through a 0.15 mm titanium web, and two plastic-filled antenna breaks in the rim. Rated 10 ATM.
Scope:
1. Review the plan and layout model and list the top 10 manufacturability or sealing concerns (milestone 1).
2. Production CAD of the unibody, caseback, crystal seat, button heads and retainers, the break-fill geometry (bow-tie dovetail with a 0.6 mm land), and lugs for 22 mm spring bars.
3. 2D drawings with tolerances for the unibody and caseback, with seal lands and critical bores called out.
4. Native Fusion 360 files, STEP and PDF.
Budget: USD 500 fixed, in three milestones: USD 50 review, USD 300 CAD, USD 150 drawings. The plan is shared after an NDA.
Please include a link to a watch, wearable or small CNC metal enclosure you designed, the software you use, and one question about the scope.
