I’m putting together a printed guide for people taking their very first solo trip, with a special focus on middle-aged travelers who are looking for meaningful cultural insights rather than the typical whirlwind itinerary. The manuscript should read like a friendly mentor: reassuring, practical, and packed with real stories that help readers connect to local customs, etiquette, and everyday life wherever they go.

Here’s what I need from you:

• A well-structured, fully edited manuscript that can stand alone as a print book (think book-shop quality, not a folded brochure).
• Rich cultural commentary woven through each chapter—festivals, food rituals, language tips, and respectful dos & don’ts that empower travelers to blend in confidently.
• Print-ready interior layout delivered in both PDF and the source file you prefer (InDesign or Affinity Publisher are fine).
• A table of contents and short introduction that sets expectations for a first-time solo journey.

Reference photos or simple infographics are welcome if they enhance cultural understanding, but keep visuals secondary to the writing. Once I approve the final draft, I’ll move to print, so accuracy and clean formatting are critical.

If you have past experience writing or laying out travel books—or you’ve guided middle-aged adventurers yourself—please share a sample. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right match, and I’ll be available for quick feedback throughout the project so we stay on schedule.
