I’m looking for a principal-level full-stack engineer who can take our green-field SaaS from concept to production. The very first milestone is clear: build the core platform, starting with the React web app and delivering solid, secure user authentication out of the gate. Everything will live in a TypeScript monorepo so that the React Native mobile experience and the Node.js API layer can plug in seamlessly once the web foundation is solid.
You will design the overall architecture, spin up a modern CI/CD pipeline, and write production-ready code yourself while documenting patterns the rest of the team can follow. I expect you to choose proven tools—React 18, React Native, Node.js 18+, PostgreSQL (or a comparable SQL store), Docker, and a cloud provider of your choice—and wire them together with automated tests and one-click deployments.
Immediate deliverables
• A running React web app with sign-up, login, password reset, and JWT-based sessions
• An accompanying Node.js API (REST or GraphQL) that backs those auth flows
• CI/CD configured for pull-request checks, staging, and production promotion
• Architecture docs and onboarding notes so future contributors can move fast
Acceptance criteria
1. New users can create an account, verify email, and log in from the web UI.
2. Auth endpoints are covered by unit and integration tests with ≥90 % coverage.
3. Every push to main automatically builds, tests, and deploys to a secure staging environment.
4. Documentation explains local setup, branching strategy, env variables, and release process.
Once these pieces are stable we’ll expand into dashboards, live chat, and the mobile app, but the first objective is to get the core web platform in customers’ hands quickly and confidently. If you’ve taken products from zero to launch before and enjoy owning the stack end-to-end, let’s talk.
