I have a set of GPS tracks for one primate troop exported as a single .gpx file. I need that movement data turned into two complementary home-range products in ArcGIS:
• a Minimum Convex Polygon (95 % MCP)
• a Kernel Density Estimate surface (KDE) with clearly documented bandwidth choice
Once the ranges are defined, I also need the extent and proportion of vegetation cover inside each range calculated from a recent NDVI layer (you may pull the most suitable free satellite scene or suggest one if licensing is an issue). Final outputs should be two ready-to-print map layouts in A4 PDF, the working ArcGIS project with cleanly organised layers, and a brief methods note so the steps can be replicated for an educational demonstration.
Please show one or two examples of similar spatial ecology or NDVI work you have done so I can quickly gauge fit. No full proposals required at this stage—solid past work speaks louder.
