About the product

PriceMatch is a free app (Android + web). You add something you already bought at Best Buy, Costco, Target, Walmart, or Amazon. We watch the price. If it drops while the store still allows a price adjustment, we alert you so you can ask for the difference back. Most people never notice these drops, and stores don't tell you.

What I need

Short animated ads for paid social and YouTube that make a stranger understand the idea in the first three seconds and want to install.

Deliverables

1 × 30s master explainer (the full story)
3 × 15s ads, each with a different opening hook (not three edits of the same video)
2 × 6s bumpers
Each delivered in 9:16 vertical; the 30s master also in 1:1 and 16:9
Burned-in captions and a separate .srt file
One version with voiceover and one music-only version
Editable source files (After Effects project or equivalent) with fonts and assets, so I can make future cutdowns

What I provide

App screen recordings, logo and icon files, colors and fonts, and a written list of approved claims (below). Real product UI must be used — no invented screens.

Claims rules — please read, this is not negotiable

The product deals with money and named retailers, so advertising accuracy matters legally.

You may say:

Costco.com: price adjustment within 30 days
Target: 14 days, on Target's own price
Best Buy: 15 days (60 for paid members)
Amazon and Walmart: no published policy — only ever describe as "some stores may refund as a goodwill gesture"

You may not:

Use any retailer's logo, brand colors, storefront, or a lookalike
Say or imply "guaranteed," "never pay full price," "claim what you're owed," "we get your money back," or "we file the claim for you" (the user asks the store themselves)
Invent savings figures, reviews, or testimonials
Imply any partnership or affiliation with a retailer
Use childlike characters, music, or styling — the audience is adults 18+

Where stores are named on screen, include: "Not affiliated with Best Buy, Costco, Target, Walmart or Amazon."

Suggested story for the 30s master (you're welcome to pitch better)

Someone buys something. Happy.
Two weeks later the same item is cheaper. They never find out.
PriceMatch is watching. Alert arrives: the price dropped, and the store's window is still open.
They ask the store. They get the difference back.
"Free. Add your first purchase in under a minute." Store badge + URL.

Technical

Delivery: H.264 MP4, 1080p minimum, plus ProRes for the master
Designed to work with the sound off — most people won't hear it
Text large enough to read on a phone; safe margins for platform UI

Rights

Work-for-hire. Full ownership of all final files and source files transfers to me on final payment. Any music, stock, or fonts must be commercially licensed for paid advertising, with the license documentation handed over. Do not use anything you can't license to me.

Timeline and budget

10 days

Script + storyboard/animatic
First animated master
Final delivery of all cutdowns and source files

How I'll choose

Shortlisted candidates get a small paid test: one 6s bumper or a 10-second animatic. I award the full package from that.
