Preschool Activity Periodical Design

I’m putting together a bright, engaging activity periodical aimed at preschoolers aged 3-6 and need someone who can take it from concept to print-ready layout right away. The publication should feel playful first and foremost, so every page must deliver fun and entertainment while quietly reinforcing early-learning skills.

Content mix
• Puzzles and games that a pre-reader can tackle with minimal adult help.
• Simple arts and crafts projects using everyday classroom or home supplies.
• Short, age-appropriate educational lessons woven naturally into the fun (think counting in a board game or colors in a craft).

Style & layout
Expect large visuals, clear step-by-step illustrations, and lots of white space so small hands don’t feel overwhelmed. A consistent color palette and friendly typography are important, and I’m open to any kid-centric design tools—Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, Procreate—as long as the final file arrives as a high-resolution, print-ready PDF with all fonts and assets embedded.

Scope & deliverables
– Complete periodical design (approximately 20–24 pages, cover included)
– Source files and flattened print PDF
– A quick preview mock-up for approval before final export

Timing
I’m on an ASAP schedule, so please outline how quickly you can deliver first drafts and the full file. If you have a sample of previous children’s work or puzzle layouts, it will help me choose swiftly.
