Premium Women’s Activewear Technical Designer & Product Developer

I am launching a premium women’s activewear / athleisure brand in India and am looking for an experienced technical apparel designer / activewear product developer to help develop my first small collection.

This is NOT a fashion illustration project. I need someone who understands the technical side of taking a garment from concept to production.

Initial collection

The collection will include women’s fitted activewear such as:

* High-waisted leggings
* Flared leggings
* Sports bras
* Fitted tops
* Shorts
* Other premium, body-conscious athleisure pieces

The aesthetic is sexy, chic, fashion-forward, feminine and premium, with a strong focus on fit and quality.

What I need from you

Ideally, you should be able to help with:

* Technical flats — front and back
* Detailed tech packs
* Measurement/specification sheets
* Points of measurement and tolerances
* Activewear fabric recommendations
* Stretch, recovery and GSM considerations
* Seam and stitch/construction details
* Trims, elastic and lining specifications
* Pattern development
* Size grading
* Sample development
* Fit corrections after sampling
* Communication with the manufacturer during development
* Final production-ready technical documentation

Experience required

I am particularly interested in someone who has personally developed women’s activewear, sportswear, leggings, sports bras or other stretch garments.

In your proposal, please tell me:

1. How many women’s activewear products/collections have you technically developed?
2. Have you worked specifically with leggings and sports bras?
3. Do you personally handle pattern development?
4. Do you handle grading and size specifications?
5. Do you participate in sample fitting and corrections?
6. What activewear fabrics do you commonly work with?
7. Have you worked directly with garment manufacturers/factories?
8. Please show 3–5 examples of actual activewear technical work or tech packs you have created.
9. Please explain exactly what you provide for each style.
10. Please quote your fee per style and clearly state how many revisions/sample corrections are included.

I am a first-time founder, so I value clear communication, patience and the ability to explain technical matters in simple language.

I am looking for a long-term technical/product-development partner if the first project goes well.
