Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced, creative and detail-oriented Videographer & Video Editor who can independently handle video shoots and post-production.
The primary focus will be interior videography, including room walkthroughs, furniture, materials, textures, finishes and design details. The role may also include professional founder/CEO videos, talking-head content and behind-the-scenes brand videos.
The ideal candidate should understand how to capture spaces professionally and create visually refined content that aligns with a premium interior design brand.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Shooting
• Shoot professional videos of interior spaces, room layouts, furniture, lighting, materials and design details.
• Capture smooth walkthroughs and visually engaging footage using appropriate camera movements, angles and framing.
• Understand lighting, composition, perspective and exposure for interior environments.
• Plan shoots independently, including shot lists, equipment and basic lighting setup.
• Shoot professional founder/CEO videos, talking-head content and behind-the-scenes footage when required.
• Adapt the shooting style to the purpose of the content, from cinematic interior videos to clean, natural and professional talking-head videos.
• Handle equipment carefully and maintain professional standards during on-location shoots.
2. Video Editing & Post-Production
• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form video content.
• Select and sequence footage to create engaging, well-paced videos.
• Handle colour correction, colour grading, transitions, text overlays, captions, music and sound effects.
• Balance audio and ensure that the final video looks and sounds professional.
• Maintain a sophisticated, polished and consistent visual style aligned with Alqove Aria's brand identity.
• Deliver content in the appropriate aspect ratios, resolutions and formats for each platform.
• Incorporate feedback and complete revisions within agreed timelines.
3. Creative Collaboration
• Understand the creative direction and visual references provided for each shoot.
• Suggest suitable shots, camera movements and editing approaches.
• Contribute ideas for interior-focused content and brand-building videos.
• Organise raw footage and final exports systematically.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Practical experience in professional videography and video editing.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating shooting and editing capabilities.
• Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, composition, framing and stabilisation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or comparable editing software.
• Understanding of colour correction, sound design, transitions and short-form storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and deliver quality work without extensive training.
• Good communication, time management and attention to detail.
