No images, tables, or forms complicate the file—just text that must look identical once converted so I can edit it confidently later.

Use whichever tools you prefer—Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, OCR utilities, or careful manual re-types—to achieve a pixel-perfect match. Accuracy is critical, so please proof for any OCR slips before handing it over.
