I have a PDF made up exclusively of neatly structured tables and I need every row and column moved into Excel with absolute fidelity. Because the table layout never changes from page to page, the job is straightforward in terms of mapping—but the resulting workbook must be more than a copy-and-paste.
Key requirements
• Each PDF table goes into its own worksheet, preserving original column order and headings.
• Apply clear data-validation rules (e.g., drop-downs where the source file shows fixed choices, numeric limits for quantity fields, and date pickers for any date columns).
• Match source formatting: header shading, bold totals, and any merged cells that exist in the PDF.
• Final file must open error-free in the current versions of Excel for both Windows and macOS.
I will supply the PDF immediately; I’m ready to review a quick sample of one converted page before you proceed with the full document, just to confirm that the validation rules and formatting are on target.
