I want to build a web app that connects customers with local businesses like restaurants shops cafes and small buisnesses that are not even on google maps yet the goal is that when someone opens the app they feel like everything around them is listed here not just the big chains

the app should have a smart search bar where people can type normal questions like is there a chinese restaurant nearby or whats the top rated coffee shop and it should show the matching places as pins on a map not just a plain list

each business pin on the map needs to show if its open or closed right now with a green dot for open and red dot for closed so people can actually tell whats open even at midnight or early morning

when you click a business it should open a detail view with photos, address, phone number, rating, price range, opening hours for the whole week and a whats new section where the business can post live updates like new menu item or new staff or a discount today this is the part that should feel more alive then a normal google listing

users should be able to save businesses as favorites and filter by category like restaurant shop cafe bakery etc and also filter for open now only

this is a website first, not a mobile app yet, so it just needs to work well in a normal browser on desktop and on phone browser

this is completely from scratch, i only have the idea right now, theres no code no design nothing built yet so please plan for a full build from zero

no payment system needed right now so please dont add stripe or any billing, also skip business analytics dashboard, skip paid membership tiers and skip referral system for now those come later

looking for someone who can build this idea into a real working version, please explain your past experience with similar map or directory type apps before we talk further
