Power BI Sales Dashboard Build

Build a polished Power BI dashboard that presents our key sales KPIs and metrics for the Sales department. The finished report will be shared with employees who are still new to data-driven decision-making, so every visual needs to read clearly at a glance and respond smoothly to simple slicers.

Scope of work
• Use (or create) a sample sales dataset of roughly 1,000 rows.
• Model the data in Power BI, then design a single-screen report that highlights revenue, gross margin, average deal size, and total units.
• Apply a modern, blue-toned corporate theme that matches our existing collateral.
• Add intuitive filters for region, product, and month while keeping navigation lightweight.

Deliverables
1. Fully functional .pbix file with all DAX measures clearly named.
2. The cleaned Excel or CSV dataset used in the model.
3. A brief “how-to” PDF (no more than two pages) that explains page layout and refresh steps for first-time Power BI users.

Acceptance criteria
• All visuals follow the specified theme and resize correctly.
• The report refreshes from the provided dataset without manual intervention.
• No broken relationships or duplicate fields; performance remains smooth when slicers are applied.
