The task is to put my Power BI environment through a realistic stress workout and document how it behaves. I have one, possibly two, reports that must be exercised for loading time, data-refresh latency, and overall user concurrency. No JMeter assets exist yet, so the full test plan needs to be designed from scratch.
You will need to:
• build a reusable JMeter test plan (.jmx) that signs in, opens the targeted report, triggers a refresh, and scales up virtual users until the limits become clear;
• parameterise user credentials and report URLs so we can extend the scripts later;
• run the tests, capture response-time metrics for page load and refresh events, and observe system behaviour at different concurrency levels;
• deliver a clear summary—charts, raw logs, and your commentary—highlighting any bottlenecks and practical tuning suggestions.
Please rely on mainstream JMeter plug-ins and keep everything compatible with the current stable release. I’ll provide access details and a test portal as soon as we start.
