I want a sleek, self-refreshing Power BI dashboard that pulls customer counts from two sources—an Excel file and our Databricks environment—and visualises the 12-month trend for each line of business across Brand A, Brand B and Brand C. The core visual should be clean line charts with a rolling monthly view, allowing users to toggle brands or drill down by product line without losing the last-year perspective.

You will work with my existing Databricks SQL endpoint (I’ll share the cluster URL and credentials) and a locally stored Excel workbook. I need the model set up so both sources refresh automatically through the Power BI gateway and any new month appended to either source rolls straight into the visuals.

Deliverables
• A .pbix file containing the data model, relationships, measures and final report pages
• Gateway configuration notes showing how to schedule refresh for both Excel and Databricks
• Documentation of DAX calculations used for the 12-month rolling total and any slicers

Acceptance criteria
The dashboard must load without errors, update on refresh, and display a single line chart per brand with clear tooltips for month-over-month change. Filters for brand, line of business and date range must respond in under two seconds on a standard workstation.

If this sounds within your wheelhouse, let’s get started right away—I’ll provide sample data and credentials as soon as you’re onboard.
