Portrait Skin Smoothing Retouching

I have a batch of portrait images that need expert retouching focused specifically on natural-looking skin smoothing. The goal is to remove uneven texture without giving the “plastic” look—pores and fine details must stay intact while blotchiness and rough patches disappear.

All files were captured in RAW and will be provided as high-resolution TIFFs or DNGs; please return the finished work at the same resolution, preferably as layered PSDs so I can make minor tweaks if needed. Adobe Photoshop is the tool I’m used to, so keep everything compatible with the latest CC version.

While the core task is skin smoothing, experience in blemish or object removal is a plus in case a stray hair or background distraction sneaks in. Consistent color balance and overall tone should remain unchanged—I only want the skin refined.

Deliverable acceptance criteria:
• Skin texture remains realistic and detailed
• No halos, banding, or over-sharpening visible at 100% zoom
• Layers clearly labeled for quick review
