I’m ready to move from concept to fabrication for a 60 ft-long × 50 ft-wide portal-frame cattle shed with 15 ft eaves. The structure will be in mild steel, so every calculation, drawing and schedule needs to reflect that material choice.

Scope
Your package should take the shed from initial member sizing all the way to workshop fabrication, leaving nothing for my fabricator to guess. I require:

• Steel member sizing and haunch geometry, fully calculated and clearly referenced.
• Connection detailing (beam-to-column, rafter apex, base plates, side-rail and purlin fixings). Weld sizes and bolt grades must be specified to current standards.
• General Arrangement drawings at “detailed layout with dimensions” level—plan, elevations and sections sufficient for statutory approval and site set-out.
• Elevation drawings highlighting roof pitch, eaves height and cladding lines.
• Fabrication drawings for every frame, including plate developments, hole positions and weld symbols.
• A consolidated steel cutting list tied to member marks.
• Master material list covering steel, fixings and consumables.

Deliverables should be supplied in PDF for issue and native CAD (DWG or similar) for future edits. If you use design software such as Tekla, Advance Steel or similar, please also export IFC. Structural calculations may be in PDF or spreadsheet but must be traceable.

Acceptance
I’ll review for completeness, dimensional accuracy, consistency between drawings and lists, and conformance to mild-steel grades and bolt classes you specify. Once any queries are closed out, the milestone is released.

If you have questions about wind/loading assumptions or local code references, flag them early so we lock them in before detailed work begins.
