My pop-up camper’s roof has started to leak and the water damage is already showing in the inner plywood and insulation. I need the damaged wood and insulation taken out and replaced, then the roof re-skinned in aluminum sheet metal and fully sealed so that no moisture can find its way back in.

You’ll be handling every step on-site: opening the roof assembly, removing rotten sections, installing new structural wood, fitting fresh insulation, then laying and sealing the aluminum skin around vents, trim, and corners. All seams must be watertight, the surface smooth, and the roof strong enough to support the factory A/C unit once everything is buttoned up.

Please tell me:
• How you normally tackle a job like this (materials, sealants, tools)
• Rough schedule from tear-down to final seal
• A couple of photos or references from similar camper roof repairs you have completed

Deliverables will be checked against these acceptance points: a solid, level roof structure; no flexing around lifted sections; continuous, leak-free aluminum skin; and a clean finish ready for paint or vinyl. Looking forward to getting my camper road-ready again with your help.
