I’ve developed a collapsible pop-up tent and I’m ready for a seasoned mechanical or structural engineer to give it a critical once-over. You’ll receive my full set of detailed CAD drawings and assembly notes as soon as we agree to move forward.

Your focus will be on three fronts: confirming structural integrity under typical camping loads, evaluating the materials I’ve specified for durability and weight, and checking that the folding mechanism stays simple enough for users to set up and pack away without frustration. I’m not bound to any formal code, but I expect your recommendations to align with solid industry practice and good engineering judgment.

The deliverable I’m looking for is a concise review report (PDF or Word) that flags any weak points, quantifies stresses where relevant, and offers clear, actionable improvements. If small tweaks to the drawings help illustrate your ideas, feel free to mark them up. I’m happy to answer questions and can provide additional data—fabric specs, mock-up photos, even short videos of the folding sequence—once we’re underway.

If this sounds like your kind of quick yet detailed project, let’s chat.
