The core gameplay of my Unreal Engine 5 multiplayer horror title is solid, yet the experience still feels sparse and unrefined once players step indoors. I need a polish-and-optimization pass focused on three fronts: richer interior environments, higher-grade visuals, and more impactful jump scares, all while keeping network performance smooth.
Environment pass
Inside each building the rooms, corridors, and decorative props look too empty. You are free to introduce additional 3D assets—hand-made or AI-generated models are both acceptable—as long as they fit the art style and slot cleanly into existing Blueprints. Collisions, LODs, and lightmap UVs must be set so the multiplayer build stays performant.
Visual upgrade
Textures require a noticeable bump in quality. Please replace or re-author assets where needed to deliver higher resolution maps, more realistic PBR materials, and tighter lighting effects that leverage Lumen without tanking FPS. Any texture or material changes have to compile cleanly for Windows and console targets.
Scare refinement
Several jump-scare sequences rely on placeholder animations and abrupt audio cues. Improve the animation blending, tweak timing, and add subtle environmental tells so the scares feel earned rather than scripted. If you introduce new skeletal meshes or montages, ensure replication is handled so every player sees the same scare event.
Deliverables
• Updated Unreal Engine 5 project with new interior assets properly integrated
• Optimised textures & materials with Lumen-ready lighting adjustments
• Revised scare sequences and animations, fully replicated in multiplayer
• A packaged build plus a short change-log explaining what was touched and how to toggle the new content
I will provide the current project files, asset guidelines, and a short video walkthrough of the problem areas. If your work compiles cleanly, boosts visual fidelity, and keeps our target frame rate, we are done—no endless revisions required.
