I have a biography-style nonfiction manuscript just under 50,000 words that now needs a meticulous grammar-and-punctuation overhaul. The story structure, pacing, and voice are already set; what I need is a sharp editorial eye to catch every misplaced comma, awkward tense shift, and style inconsistency so the prose reads smoothly and professionally from first page to last.

You’ll work directly in Word, using Track Changes so I can review every correction. If you follow Chicago style naturally, that’s a plus, but consistency matters more than the specific guide. I’ll be available to clarify any ambiguous sentences or factual references along the way, and I welcome a short sample pass on a few pages before we dive into the full manuscript.
