Podcast Recording Setup and Equipment Configuration

We’re recording a series of interview-style podcast episodes at a private residence in Noosa, Queensland, from Wednesday 14 to Friday 16 October 2026. We do not need a crew on site during recording. We need someone to build and configure the setup on Tuesday 13 October so that we can simply hit record ourselves each day — point and shoot, swap or charge batteries where needed, and nothing more.

What we need

A fixed, pre-framed, pre-levelled setup for a host and one or two guests
Multi-camera video (3 cameras preferred) — locked off, focus and exposure set, ready to roll
Individual microphones per speaker running into a mixer/recorder, levels set, separate tracks, with a backup recording (ideally 3 microphones)
Lighting for interior setups or alterantively outdoors on the deck or in the garden, so we also need a simple outdoor configuration that works in natural light and handles wind noise
Clear labelling, and a one-page cheat sheet: what to press, what to charge, how to check we’re actually recording, what to do if something looks wrong
A walkthrough on the Tuesday so we’re confident operating it solo
Phone availability across Wed–Fri if something goes sideways
Pack-down Friday afternoon (or collection arranged)

Equipment — two options, please quote for both if you can:

1. You supply everything — cameras, lenses, mics, mixer/recorder, lighting, stands, cabling, media, batteries, chargers. Include a hire cost in your quote.
2. We supply the gear — we have cameras, Rode microphones and a mixer. We’re not technical, so you’d need to spec what we have, tell us what’s missing, and configure it all end to end. If our gear isn’t up to it, say so and tell us what to buy or hire.

Sunshine Coast and/or Noosa based and able to travel to Noosa at your own cost
