Plastic Throttle Body Housing CAD

I’m moving forward with the mechanical design of a throttle body and need a complete CAD model of the housing, which will be molded in plastic. All electronic control work is handled elsewhere; this assignment focuses purely on the mechanical envelope, airflow path, mounting flanges, sensor bosses, and sealing features.

The goal is a manufacturable design suitable for high-volume injection molding. A SolidWorks or CATIA native file is preferred, but STEP/IGES exports are fine for hand-off to my tooling partner. I’ll share a preliminary 3-D scan of the intake manifold, the throttle plate geometry, and package constraints once we start. I'm looking to hire a engineer with major car manufacturing systems.

Deliverables:
• Parametric 3-D CAD of the plastic housing
• 2-D drawings with critical dimensions, tolerances, and material call-outs
• Draft analysis confirmation and suggestions for gate placement/ejector strategy
• Final STEP file for release to tooling

Acceptance is based on fit to the provided manifold scan, correct integration of the supplied throttle plate, and draft angles that meet standard injection-molding guidelines.
