Plant Disease Detection

I need a straightforward mobile application that can recognise plant diseases from images captured with the phone’s camera or selected from the gallery. After analysis, the screen must clearly display the disease name together with recommended treatment steps and practical prevention tips so users can act immediately.

The first release should only work with a specific list of plants that I will supply once the project starts, so please design the model and database to make adding more plants later as painless as possible.

I’m open to your preferred tech stack—TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile, Core ML, or any other library that delivers fast, offline-ready inference—but keep the final APK/IPA lightweight and user-friendly. A clean UI with two buttons (Take Photo / Choose from Gallery) and an info panel for the results is all that’s required for version 1.

Deliverables
• Trained model covering my initial plant list
• Source code for the mobile app (Android or iOS, or both if you have cross-platform expertise)
• Brief setup document so I can rebuild the project locally
• Short user guide explaining how to capture the best images for accurate detection
