I have between one and three short adventure films on YouTube and I’d like to learn exactly where each one was recorded. I can share time-stamped links or ripped still frames that feature distinct landmarks, plus the approximate season in which the footage was captured. While I already have a few hunches about possible regions, nothing is confirmed, so I’m relying on solid geolocation work—think Google Earth, Street View, satellite imagery, terrain maps, and any other open-source intelligence tools that help lock down coordinates.
The end goal is simple: for every video, provide the most precise location you can—ideally GPS coordinates accompanied by a short explanation of how you arrived at that spot (e.g., matching skyline features, mountain ridgelines, signage, vegetation, seasonal clues). Accuracy matters more than speed; convincing evidence is what will make each result usable.
If this sounds within your wheelhouse, let’s talk methodology, data you’ll need from me, and milestones for handing back the confirmed locations.
