Hi,
I am conducting a small market-validation exercise for a proposed B2B platform connecting pyrolysis suppliers with industrial buyers in India.
I need a researcher who can conduct professional telephone interviews with businesses across India.
Scope of the pilot:
Complete 5 supplier interviews and 5 buyer interviews.
We will provide the initial candidate list, short questionnaires and instructions will be provided upfront, so they can work independently without daily supervision.
Supplier categories: tyre/rubber pyrolysis and plastic pyrolysis/chemical recycling.
Buyer categories: users or purchasers of tyre pyrolysis oil (TPO), plastic pyrolysis oil, recovered carbon black/char, and recovered steel.
This is telephone-based research; no travel or physical visits are required.
Deliverables:
Completed questionnaire responses for all 10 interviews.
Company name, contact person's role, public contact source, call date and interview status.
An editable Excel file containing the responses.
A brief summary of the main findings and challenges.
Quality requirements:
Use the supplied questionnaire without changing its core questions.
Do not invent responses or treat general interest as proof of actual purchasing activity.
Distinguish genuine producers from traders and genuine buyers from theoretical prospects.
Be professional and transparent when contacting respondents.
Do not record calls or share confidential information.
Provide the research findings and records in a format that can be checked independently.
Timeline: Please propose a realistic completion time, preferably within 10–14 days.
Budget: Please quote a fixed price for the 10-interview pilot, including all calling expenses. Ideally, the pilot should cost around ₹2,000–₹2,500.
Location: India-based candidates preferred.
Language: Good spoken English and Hindi required; other Indian languages are an advantage.
Timeline: 10–14 calendar days, with flexible scheduling.
Client availability: I work full-time and may take few business days to respond. The freelancer should be comfortable working independently using the supplied instructions.
Budget: Fixed price of ₹2,000–₹2,500 for the 10-interview pilot, inclusive of calling expenses.
Further work covering the remaining interviews may be offered if the pilot meets our quality expectations. There is no guarantee of further work.
When bidding, please explain your experience with B2B telephone research, how you would identify the appropriate company contacts, your proposed timeline, and your total fixed price.
Pilot Verification Guidelines for the Freelancer:
Data Logging Requirements: For every pilot call, you must document and record the following details in the deliverable:
Company name
Contact person's name and role
Public source/link where the phone number was retrieved
Date of the call
Call outcome and full interview responses
Compliance Note: Do not record audio for any call unless explicit prior permission has been granted by the respondent.
