I’m moving an established adult-video website from its current custom stack (pure PHP, JavaScript and CSS) to WordPress so I can control everything through Elementor and the usual plugin ecosystem. The front-end look and feel must remain virtually identical—layout, colours, fonts, player placement and every existing URL slug should carry over untouched—so regular visitors never notice the change in engine.
Core requirements
• Build the new site in the latest stable WordPress release.
• Recreate the present theme pixel-for-pixel, making it fully editable with Elementor.
• Set up a custom post type (or comparable structure) for video entries, retaining current categories, tags, thumbnails and embedded player code.
• Migrate all existing content, meta data and internal links.
• Activate and configure reliable SEO optimisation (e.g., Yoast or Rank Math) and security hardening (e.g., Wordfence, iThemes).
• Keep the code lean—no unnecessary plugins or page-speed bloat.
Compatibility with popular caching or performance tools is welcome, but not mandatory; the priority is preserving design fidelity, SEO equity and security. A short hand-off document explaining theme edits, custom functions and plugin settings will complete the job.
