PHP 8.5 WooCommerce Upgrade

nznaturalhealth.com is still on an older PHP build and I plan to move the server to PHP 8.5. Before switching over, I need the entire WooCommerce store reviewed, updated, and fully tested so that the upgrade is seamless for customers.

Key areas that must keep working are:
• online shopping, checkout, and payments
• contact forms, bookings, and all customer-facing emails
• product pages, search, and account log-in

All three payment options—credit or debit cards, PayPal, and bank-transfer/manual methods—have to process without errors after the move.

I don’t yet have a staging copy on SiteGround, but I’m happy to approve creating one so you can carry out the work safely away from the live site.

Deliverables
• Audit the theme, custom code, and plugins for PHP 8.5 compatibility
• Apply fixes or updates, replacing plugins only when strictly necessary
• Spin up a staging environment on SiteGround, switch it to PHP 8.5, and run functional tests covering the areas listed above
• Supply a clear itemised quote for any work that exceeds a straight compatibility patch (note optional items separately)
• Provide a short hand-over report outlining what was changed, anything still outstanding, and any risks I should be aware of
