Photoshop composite: replace a rooftop tent on vehicle photos (product accuracy is critical)

About the project
We’re GRAND4x4, an Australian maker of ute canopies and accessories. We have photos of our vehicles fitted with an older rooftop tent. We need the old tent replaced with our new G4 Rooftop Tent so the result looks like a real, unedited photograph.
We’ve tried AI tools (ChatGPT), and they keep changing the product: wrong shape, wrong logos, wrong proportions and wrong perspective. This job needs a skilled human compositor who works from our real product photos and doesn’t redraw or reinterpret anything.
The task
Remove the old tent from the vehicle photo, rebuilding any canopy, roof rack or background behind it.
Composite the new G4 Rooftop Tent (and the 270° awning where we ask for it) using our real product photos.
Match perspective, scale, lighting, colour, shadows and reflections so the tent looks physically mounted on the canopy and shot with the same camera.
Accuracy requirements (non-negotiable)
The tent must match our reference photos exactly: shape, proportions, solar panel, crossbars, side rails, latches, canvas and every “G4” logo (same font, size, colour and position).
The vehicle and canopy must stay exactly as in the original photo. No changes to body shape, panels, badges or number plate.
Correct real-world scale: the tent’s footprint matches the canopy roof and doesn’t overhang the cab.
No AI-generated product parts. Generative fill is OK for background clean-up and shadow blending only.
What we’ll provide
The original vehicle photo(s) with the old tent.
High-resolution photos of the new tent and awning from several angles (open and closed).
Notes on how the tent opens, where the awning mounts, and where the ladder goes.
Deliverables
One layered PSD plus a flattened high-res JPG (at least 3000px on the long edge).
Crops for Meta ads: 1:1 (1080×1080), 4:5 (1080×1350) and 9:16 (1080×1920).
Up to 2 rounds of revisions.
Scope and next steps
We’re starting with 1 test image. If the result is accurate and realistic, we’ll move straight to 10 more images, with more work likely after that.
