Ultra-High-Resolution Photorealistic Alpine Mountain Image for Large-Format Printing (3 × 2 m)
Project Description

I am looking for an experienced digital artist / high-end photo compositor / AI image specialist to create a highly realistic Alpine mountain landscape based on the attached reference image.

The final image will be used as a large-format wall print measuring approximately 3 × 2 metres.

Therefore, the most important requirement is exceptionally high image quality and genuine fine detail. The image must remain sharp and convincing when viewed at large scale and at relatively close distance.

Simply enlarging or AI-upscaling a small image is not sufficient. I need actual fine visual detail in the mountain rock, snow, trees, ibex, vegetation and other elements.

Main Scene

The composition should be similar to the attached reference image:

Large, dominant rocky mountain in the background
Snow-covered mountain and foreground
An Alpine ibex standing on a rocky/snow-covered foreground
Some Alpine fir/spruce trees
Atmospheric mist/clouds in the valley

Warm sunlight/sunrise from the left side
Photorealistic, premium and natural appearance
Suitable for use as a sophisticated corporate wall image

The overall impression should be majestic, calm, clean, premium and distinctly Swiss/Alpine.

VERY IMPORTANT – Mountain Shape / Contours

The mountain cannot be completely invented.

I will provide a reference image / outline showing the required contours and characteristic shape of the mountain.

The artist must use these contours as the basis for the mountain.

The following should closely correspond to the supplied reference:

Overall mountain silhouette
Main summit position
Ridge lines
Characteristic slopes
Major rock formations
General proportions of the mountain

The final mountain should look photorealistic while still being clearly recognisable from the supplied contour/reference.

Ultra-High-Resolution Requirement

This is the most important technical requirement.

The final artwork will be printed at approximately:

3 metres × 2 metres

The image therefore needs to contain enough real visual detail for professional large-format printing.

I do NOT want a small AI-generated image that has simply been enlarged to a huge pixel dimension.

When zooming into the final master file at 100%, I expect to see convincing detail such as:

Individual rock textures and cracks
Fine structures in the snow
Small snow-covered branches
Detailed trees and vegetation
Realistic ibex fur
Detailed horns, face, eyes and legs
Natural transitions between snow and rock
Fine atmospheric details
No blurred or “melted” AI textures
No obvious AI artefacts
No repetitive or artificial-looking structures

The image should look convincing even when printed several metres wide.

Resolution / File Requirements

Please propose the highest practical native working resolution for this project.

As a target, I would like the final master image to be approximately:

15,000–25,000 pixels wide or higher, depending on the workflow and achievable genuine detail.

Higher resolution is welcome if the additional pixels contain meaningful detail.

Please explain in your proposal:

At what resolution you will create the original artwork.
How you will achieve genuine fine detail at this size.
Whether you will use AI generation, Photoshop compositing, 3D rendering, photography, manual retouching or a combination of techniques.
What final pixel dimensions you recommend for a professional 3 × 2 metre print.
Deliverables

The final delivery should include:

Full-resolution master file
Preferably 16-bit TIFF
Adobe RGB (1998) or another suitable professional print colour space
Maximum-quality JPEG version
Layered PSD/PSB file if Photoshop compositing is used
No watermarks
No compression artefacts
Full commercial usage rights

The final image must be suitable for professional large-format printing.

Important: No Logo Required

The attached Capramed image is primarily a visual reference for the landscape, composition, atmosphere and positioning.

Please create the landscape without the Capramed logo or text. The logo can be added separately later.

Quality Expectations

I am looking for photorealism, not an illustration or obvious AI artwork.

The final result should have the quality of a professionally photographed or very high-end digitally composed Alpine landscape.
