Hi,
we are replacing the kitchen in our flat. Kitchen and dining are one room, roughly 540 x 390 cm, with a window over where the sink will go and a balcony door at the dining end. The kitchen company has given us a 2D layout (a plan and drawings of the walls). L shape, tall units with the oven and the fridge at one end, sink under the window.
Before we sign anything we want to actually see it. Two reasons.
First we can't decide on the cabinet colour. It's between a warm off-white and a sage green. The room faces north east and doesn't get much sun, so I'm worried the green will make it feel dark and small. Or the white will look boring, idk. We've been going back and forth on this for way too long.
Second, I had renders made before for another room and honestly they were useless. Everything looked like shiny plastic, the light was glowing from nowhere, the sofa was massive compared to the room and the cupboards went right up to the ceiling, which they didn't in real life. It looked like a catalogue, not like our flat. So please only apply if you can make it look like a real room. I'd rather have less pictures that are right than lots that look pretty.
What I need
realistic pictures of the room with the new kitchen, built from our measurments and the kitchen company's layout
one close-up of the worktop and sink area, I want to see the worktop and the tiles properly
the main picture in both colours so we can compare
sizes have to be right, that is the whole point
the 3D file as well if that's a normal thing to get
I can send the layout, photos of the room and photos of the samples to whoever I go with. We still have the old kitchen in there so the photos will look a bit of a mess.
Please tell me in your bid how you would make sure it looks real. Not interested in a list of software.
