I’m running a one-day conference at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (1101 Arch Street, Philadelphia) on 14 November and need an experienced on-site coordinator to take full charge of logistics and venue management. Attendance will sit somewhere between 100 and 500 people, so the pace will be brisk but manageable for someone who has handled mid-sized corporate events before.

Here’s what I’ll be relying on you to cover from load-in to load-out:
• Liaise with convention-center staff and external vendors to make sure rooms, AV and signage are set exactly to plan.
• Track deliveries, coordinate live captipon service
• Act as the first point of contact for on-site issues, troubleshooting anything that pops up without letting it reach the speakers or attendees.

You’ll need to be on location early (around 14:30 p.m.) and stay through the final teardown. If you have two laptops even better; otherwise I’ll supply. A calm, solutions-first attitude is essential, along with clear communication and the ability to document any post-event notes that will help me improve future editions.
Speaking Mandarin/Chinese is a plus.
If you’ve successfully run similar conferences and know the Pennsylvania Convention Center layout—or can learn it quickly—I’d love to talk further and lock in the day.
