PhD Data Analysis (NVivo) – Thematic Analysis of 25 Interviews
Budget / SalaryHourly project
TypeFreelance project
LocationRemote
Posted2 hours ago
Project Overview
25 semi-structured interview transcripts
Average interview duration: approximately 30 minutes each
Analysis to be conducted using NVivo
Thematic Analysis following a rigorous qualitative approach using the six steps of the Braun and Clarke approach
The analysis must strictly align with my research questions and research objectives, which will be provided.
The final Data Analysis and Findings chapter should be approximately 30–40 pages (excluding appendices and NVivo outputs), written in clear academic English and suitable for direct inclusion, with minimal editing, in a PhD thesis.
Deliverables
Complete NVivo project (.nvp)
Coding framework/codebook
Well-developed themes and sub-themes with supporting quotations
Analytic memos documenting coding decisions and theme development
A fully written Data Analysis and Findings chapter of approximately 30–40 pages, presenting the themes, interpreting the findings, and explicitly linking them to the research questions/objectives and relevant literature where appropriate.
Recommendations for presenting the findings within the PhD thesis (where appropriate)
Important
This project requires far more than coding transcripts.
I am looking for someone who can undertake PhD-level qualitative analysis, moving from coding to robust interpretation. The successful freelancer should be able to identify meaningful patterns, develop defensible themes, justify analytical decisions, and produce a coherent narrative that directly answers the research questions. The emphasis is on critical interpretation, methodological rigor, and academic quality, not simply tagging data in NVivo.
