I’m putting together a three-sheet Excel workbook to help me stay on top of my money and I’d like a specialist to build it cleanly so everything updates automatically.
Sheet 1 – Income & Expenditure
I want a straightforward table with separate columns for income and expenses. As I add rows, running totals and a net-balance field should refresh instantly. Simple drop-downs for date and category would be a bonus, but clarity and ease of data entry come first.
Sheet 2 – Statistics
Here I only need bar charts that pull from the first sheet and redraw themselves as new figures appear. At a glance I should be able to compare monthly totals and see trends.
Sheet 3 – Budgeting (50/30/20)
This sheet should apply the classic 50 % Needs, 30 % Wants, 20 % Savings rule to whatever numbers I feed in. A quick visual that flags when a bracket runs over its limit would be great.
Deliverable
• One ready-to-use .xlsx file, formula-driven (no external add-ins required), laid out exactly as described above and formatted neatly for everyday use.
If you’ve built similar personal finance templates before, let me know—otherwise a quick outline of how you’ll structure the formulas and charts is all I need to award the job.
