Personal Blog WordPress Setup

I need a clean, lightweight WordPress site configured for a personal blog. I already have hosting and will supply the premium template of your choice; your job is to install WordPress, apply the theme, and tailor it so the blog is ready for me to start publishing immediately.

The focus is on simplicity: an inviting home page that spotlights recent posts, an easy-to-navigate archive, and standard pages such as About and Contact. I prefer typography that is comfortable to read on both desktop and mobile, with a colour palette that matches the template out of the box so we avoid heavy custom CSS.

Please handle the usual behind-the-scenes setup—permalinks, basic security hardening, caching, and an SEO plugin—so performance and search readiness are covered from day one. If you think a commenting system, social sharing buttons, or a newsletter opt-in can be added without bloating the site, include that in your plan and we can discuss.

Deliverables
• WordPress installed on my server and connected to the domain
• Theme uploaded, activated, and styled to match supplied assets
• Core plugins configured (security, caching, SEO)
• Four pages laid out: Home, About, Blog, Contact
• Written hand-off notes or a short video walkthrough showing how to add new posts and make basic edits

Timing is flexible within a week, but once we agree on the template I’d like rapid progress updates so I can review in real time.
