I have a small residential renovation centred on the living room and I need the concept sketches and photos from my design instructor turned into a full SketchUp model with construction drawings that the local building department will sign off on.

What I will supply
• A clear written brief from the instructor
• Site measurements, scans of the existing room and any relevant photos (all easy to import into SketchUp)

What I need from you
1. A clean, well-organised SketchUp (.skp) model of the renovated living room, built to the real-world dimensions I provide.
2. A set of permit-ready sheets exported from SketchUp/Layout (PDF preferred) that include: floor plan, at least two interior elevations, one section, key dimensions, material notes and any framing or electrical details the inspector will expect.
3. Iterative updates: we will likely go through one or two quick review rounds to fine-tune dimensions or annotations before final sign-off.

Acceptance criteria
• Drawings meet my region’s residential code formatting standards (title block, scale bar, north arrow, revision dates).
• All dimensions and notes align with the supplied site measures.
• Files open flawlessly in the current SketchUp version.

If you are comfortable producing permit documentation inside SketchUp/Layout and have experience with residential renovations, this should be a straightforward project. I look forward to seeing how efficiently you can translate the brief into clear, professional construction plans.
