I’m preparing an attached garage for conversion into fully code-compliant living space and need a complete, permit-ready drawing set. The city will require floor plans, elevations, and any details that show how the existing shell changes once the concrete slab is raised to meet the finished-floor height of the house.

Please be sure the package clearly depicts:
• A revised foundation / floor detail that illustrates the lifted framed floor system.
• The electrical layout has been sarted so will have to match, including circuits, receptacle spacing, lighting, and the tie-in point at the main panel.
• A plumbing layout. Rough plumbing has already been installed under the floor, so the drawings only need to document what is in place and show fixture locations for the new bath and kitchenette.
I have a rough drawing already prepared showing square footage and wall placement.

I will supply site photos, rough sketches, and municipal guidelines as soon as we start. Final files should be delivered in PDF for submission plus the editable CAD source (DWG or equivalent). The plans must satisfy all residential building code requirements for my jurisdiction—load calculations, egress, insulation values, smoke/CO detector placement, and any notes the inspector typically looks for.

Let me know your experience with similar conversions and approximate turnaround time so we can lock in the schedule and get this project moving.
