Perishable Goods Warehouse Logistics Support

I oversee a fast-moving supply chain that handles temperature-sensitive, perishable products and I’m looking for hands-on help inside the warehouse.
The core of the job is warehouse support: receiving inbound loads, staging outbound orders, keeping stock rotated, and making sure every pallet meets temperature and shelf-life requirements before it leaves the dock. Because freight moves both in and out every day, you’ll also coordinate with carriers and 3PL partners so trucks are booked, paperwork is ready, and any delays are flagged early.

Day-to-day you will:
• Update the WMS / Excel sheets in real time as product arrives or ships.
• Prepare all transport documents—BOLs, packing lists, customs forms—so drivers never wait.
• Track each shipment’s location and temperature data, sharing quick status notes with me and our customers.
• Maintain clean, organized pick faces and follow FIFO to eliminate spoilage.

Acceptance criteria: inventory records must stay 100 % aligned with physical counts; outbound loads must hit their scheduled departure window; all compliance paperwork must be filed the same day.
